Heavy-Duty Scouring: Use them on scorched sambar at the bottom of a pressure cooker, soot on the outside of an aluminium pot from a wood fire, burnt milk in a steel pan, or the sticky residue after frying chips. Steel And Iron Cookware: These pads are at their best on stainless steel, aluminium, brass and iron vessels, bringing back shine to steel plates and tumblers. Where To Avoid: Do not use on non-stick, enamel or glass surfaces, which scratch easily. Working Tip: Soak the burnt vessel in hot water with a little dish soap for ten minutes, then scour in circles with the silver pad and rinse clean. Care: Rinse the pad well after use, shake out food bits and dry it on a holder so it stays hygienic between washes.
