The DOMS Extra Long Pencil Sharpener is a lengthened single-hole DOMS sharpener that gives a secure grip and steady, controlled sharpening, a low-cost upgrade on the tiny standard sharpener for school children and adults who sharpen pencils daily.
1
Longer Body, Better Grip: The extended body gives fingers more to hold than a small square sharpener, so the pencil turns evenly and the point comes out straight rather than lopsided. Sharp Steel Blade: A DOMS steel blade shaves standard graphite and colour pencils cleanly in a few turns without chewing the wood. Fits Standard Pencils: Designed for regular-diameter pencils used in Indian schools, including DOMS, Apsara and Natraj sizes, as well as most colour pencils. Everyday Use: A dependable pick for the school pencil box, the home study table and office desks in Thrissur where pencils are still used for rough work and sketches. Pocket-Money Price: Cheap enough to keep a spare in every bag. Usage Tip: Sharpen with light pressure and stop as soon as a fine point appears, and replace the sharpener when the blade starts to tear instead of cut.
